Before Ayurvedic treatment begins, a traditional pulse diagnosis is conducted to establish your constitution type.
The interaction of the Ayurvedic treatments, Ayurvedic medication and Ayurvedic diet leads to healing purification and detoxification of the body. Harmful substances in the body are isolated and released using natural processes.

The following Ayurvedic treatments form the basis of a regeneration programme. The selection and frequency of treatments is determined on an individual basis by the medical team. Depending on the indication, the following treatments and other specific procedures may be performed:

Panchakarma (Vamana, Vireka, Vasti, Raktha Mochana, Nasya)
These five Ayurvedic remedies are used during the cleansing process.

Muhuna Abyanga (facial massage)
A massage with Ayurvedic oils or creams releases skin impurities and soothes the face's nerve structure. The skin is left soft and silky.

Shirsha Abyanga (head massage)
The head and neck are massaged with Ayurvedic oils. This stimulates blood circulation; nerve tracts are lent elasticity, hair growth is stimulated and tension is released. The oils promote the release of toxins and harmful substances from the body.

Sarwanga Dara (Pizichil)
This treatment brings deep physical and spiritual relaxation. Warm medicinal oil is drizzled over the entire body and gently massaged in.

Pinda Sweda (warm oil/herbal massage)
First your body is massaged with warm Ayurvedic oil, then with little heated bags of herbal rice. The effects are stunning. You will feel fully relaxed afterwards. Pain is relieved and blood circulation stimulated.

Vashpa Aggrahanaya (herbal inhalation)
This treatment frees and cleanses the air passages.

Avagahana Sweda (herbal water bath)
This warm herbal bath has a relaxing, cleansing and pain-relieving effect and stimulates your general well-being.

Vishesha Sharia Abyanga (synchronised intensive massage)
You are massaged with a special oil by two therapists in synchrony. This body massage invigorates the skin and tissues as well as the lymphatic and immune systems for a deeply relaxing and harmonious effect.

Shirodara (oil stream head treatment)
Lukewarm oil is slowly poured on the patient's forehead in a continuous fine stream. This treatment is used to relieve headaches and to treat depression and insomnia; it provides mental and spiritual relaxation.

Vashpa Sweda (herbal steam bath)
A herbal decoction comprising 6 fresh and 12 dried herbs is prepared. The resulting steam expands the capillaries and tissue clefts and supports the release of toxins via sweat.

Vishesha Prathikara (special therapy)
Our head therapist will prescribe an individually-tailored special therapy depending on the type and extent of your health problems. Special herbal preparations and oils corresponding to your complaints and constitution will be used.

Acupuncture
On request, we can also offer acupuncture treatments in addition to Ayurveda. Of course, these have to be approved or prescribed by a doctor. We only work with single-use needles.

Meditation and yoga are also available.

Your individuality is central to all Ayurvedic treatments, which are precisely attuned to your personal constitution and condition. We make sure that your stay is a purely pleasurable one. You return to daily life relaxed, rejuvenated and full of energy. We believe that successful Ayurvedic treatment requires specific conditions.

There are also suitable Ayurveda hotels in Europe, however patients find themselves back in the real world, in familiar surrounds, immediately after treatment. It is important to leave all this behind for a time and for patients to simply enjoy themselves for the duration of their stay. The seclusion and tranquillity, beautiful scenery, unique climate and friendly people who look after you every day will help you achieve this.
